Amanda Engracia Ayala (she/her/ella) is a multicultural Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#T3097). Since 2019, she has been providing mental health services to a diverse range of folks throughout Oregon.
Her family is from Colima, Mexico and Southern California. Prior to her career as a relational therapist, she lived in Los Angeles for more than a decade and worked as a Certified Professional Nanny for high profile families. This lived experience afforded her a unique perspective into the lives of families. During this time, she began her healing journey with a therapist in West Hollywood which planted the seed of her dreams of becoming a therapist.
Amanda completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA in 2014 and obtained her Masters of Arts in Marriage, Couple, Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark Graduate School in 2019.
You can find Amanda centering her heart through plants, nature, travel, intentional rest, community, and spending time with family. Decades later, her dream of becoming therapist is alive and she continues her healing journey by regularly seeing her therapist along with integrating self-care practices and rituals.
