Philosophy & Approach

I am a relational, systems, and experiential therapist. My philosophy is an eclectic approach tailoring each session to your unique needs. I hope to provide a safe space for you to explore the deeper, wounded parts of your lived experience and move towards healing. In your therapy sessions you will get more familiar to what is happening in your body. Our goal together will be to increase your emotional awareness by noticing how emotions show up in your body. This will be done through various ways such as slowing down, grounding, mindfulness, and by adding language to these experiences. I will be with you in the moment to help gain awareness.

The approach I take as a therapist places an emphasis on utilizing an intersectional, inclusive, body liberation, health at every size®, social justice, and an anti-oppressive lens.  This means all conversations will naturally include your cultural identities, social locations, family history, and the broader contexts of your lived experience. I believe you are the expert of your own life.  Therefore, I take a collaborative approach, so we can work together and bring forth meaningful transformation as we tap into your innate strength and capacity.
